If you are feeling unwell or displaying any symptoms of Coronavirus, we respectfully ask that you do not attend our premises, for both the safety of our other guests and our staff.

We now have limited capacity both indoors and in our gardens. We are encouraging customers to book in advance to avoid dissapointment and prevent queuing at peak times. We will allow guests who have not booked, but we may not be able to accomodate you if there are no free tables.

Our maximum table size is now six people. We ask customers to respect government guidance on meeting with other households during their visits to the Royal.

We will be placing time limits of 2 hours per table to ensure everyone gets a fair chance to visit us. If you wish to stay longer, please let us know and we will try our best to accomodate you where we can.

We will be operating table service both inside and in our gardens in order to minimise queuing and to aid distancing.

Our staff will take all food and drink orders from your table. We will no longer be able to set up bar tabs, so customers will be asked to pay as you order ; We are asking customers to pay by contactless rather than cash wherever possible.

We respectfully ask all of our customers to follow government rules / advice to minimise risks to our other guests and members of staff

Our staff have all recieved training on how to operate in a safe manner in line with government policies and guidance, and we have undertaken a full Covid-19 risk assesment for our premises.
